As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with the smell of fresh pastries and smiling faces against a clean and warm aesthetic that I cannot help but love. I absolutely adore how this place looks: the wooden counter tops and copper accents with plants all around makes for a vibe that you just never want to leave. Combine that with their massive donuts and you may just never leave since they take so damn long to finish if you even can finish them! Due to their size and depth of flavor, they are well worth the $3 price tag. I had both the lemon poppy seed and the vanilla vegan donuts and they were both very good. The crumb of the actual bread was nice, and the hints of rum in the vanilla donut was super pleasant. Compared to Donut Kngdom's vegan donuts, this place is way more worth the price. When it comes to the coffee though, not so much. It definitely stings paying $7 for a coffee, and although I have to say it was the best coffee I've ever had in my entire life (the Aphrodite with Oat Milk), I simply cannot afford to have that regularly. However, I just may not be their targetted demographic especially considering that it seems like a sit in place for people with the time and money to sit and enjoy such a delicate yet robust cup of artisan coffee like that. Nonetheless, I highly recommend you try their products at least once, and maybe you'll be like me: dreaming of that cup of $7 coffee and saving up to go back again.
