I am unfamiliar with the financial avenues of World Animal Protection.
However, I do know a bit about Direct Action Everywhere (DxE). This animal rights organization is led by a man named Wayne Hsuing, who is known to allegedly have narcissistic motives, questionable financial avenues, and disturbing behavior towards women. DxE is often likened to a cult, and I can understand why. However, no other centralized organization is currently fighting for animal rights like they are, which is why I’ve included their landmark petitions.
By including their petitions, in no way am I endorsing all of the actions conducted by DxE, nor for you to donate to them.
To be honest, I’m unsure of the efficacy of petitions, which is why I recommend you to perform individual (passive) actions as well as other systemic (direct) actions: protesting, conducting demonstrations, having conversations, educating people, and creating impactful art on the morality of eating animals are many examples of direct action that promotes systemic change that we can feel. You do not have to be Vegan to do this.
I am still figuring out what the best methods to fight for animal rights are, and I am currently of the opinion that regardless, we need every method employed: radical disruption and moderate education, among many more.
Please join me on this ever-blossoming journey by joining The Animal Activists of Tallahassee and speaking up on behalf of the voiceless. Your voice is so much more powerful than you think. Come find out!
